My Everyday Make-up Products

Hi everyone! As a girl I love wearing make-up and I enjoy collecting beauty products, but I’m not actually obsessed with them. My school morning routine is ordinary and very simple, but I realised that I spend most of that time combing my hair and doing my make-up which is very natural. Every morning I apply my foundation by Lancôme on my reddened skin then I add a little bit of my Garnier BB cream especially under my eyes and on my chin then I blend it with my orange beauty blender. Sometimes I use a bronzer, otherwise I move to the next step..my mascara!  I’ve been using two mascaras: the first one by Avon is for extending eye-lashes and the second one by Kiko is for giving them volume.  Eventually I like using a matte powder by Rimmel to finish the look. Surprise Birthday Party!

Hi! My friends and I have recently organised a surprise birthday party for our friend Ada: some of us distracted her while the others decorated her garden with photos, balloons and lights. The party turned out well and we had a lot of fun! As desserts we made some brownies and biscuits and Ada made a cheesecake. 

🌺We all wore flowery dresses and Hawaiian style inspired garlands: it was like we were in a tourist village at the seaside!  This is the recipe we followed to prepare brownies :

  • 135g unsalted butter
  • 265g dark chopped chocolate
  •  75g chopped hazelnuts
  •  200g white sugar
  •  135g plain flour
  •  4 eggs
  •  pinch of salt

Live your day positively!

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog! This post is about some advice to live your day positively.

  • Take a breath: when you feel stressed because you have to do lots of things for school or work, for instance to meet a deadline, just take a breath. Take a break then restart by making plans.
  • Listen to music: create a playlist with your favourite songs, the ones that transmit energy to feel happy and active for the day. I always listen to music during my journey to school and it relaxes me.
  • Drink water: you don’t have to be thirsty to drink water. Do it as soon as you get up: your organism will restart right away and you’ll feel ready to start thinking of your day.
  • Go to bed early: it might not be easy, but if you try hard to go to bed by eleven p.m., in the morning your mind will be fresher. On school days I always go to bed at half past ten p.m.: this have changed my mornings for the better!
  • Take notes: I love taking notes and doing a report of my days, in fact I’m obsessed with notebooks! Before going to bed or as soon as you get up make plans for the day or just write things that came to your mind: you’ll be more organised and less anxious!

DIY decoration for notebooks!

In Italy school is about to start so after I had bought some new notebooks and various school supplies I decided to personalise them. Even though I’m not good at painting or colouring I think those are relaxing and liberating activities. According to some studies by colouring you can get away from everyday problems as it’s a therapeutics exercise. I found some mandala designs on the net and I coloured in them with some markers (It’s even more relaxing if you listen to music🎵) then I cut the drawings and I stuck them on my notebooks.
