Summer vibes! My expectations

Hi everybody! School is almost over, therefore I’m very happy because I know I’ll have a lot of time for myself, my passions..I think it’ll be an amazing and super fun summer and I can’t wait to dive into it!! On the other hand I’m rather worry since this has been my last but one year of High School which means that next year I’m going to have the final and scary exams! My main expectations for summer 2017 are feasible: I’d just like to have fun, relax and spend time with my family and friends. The expectations that are less likely to become reality are: to keep fit! And to work hard for school! I’d say “try not to get bored” as an other difficult resolution. What do you guys think? I also want to challenge myself to read a lot of books because during school I didn’t have much time. In addition I’d say “to visit a city I’ve never been to”. I really to hope to plan a nice holiday with my girlfriends at the seaside! It would be super fun☀️

During summer I’ll plan all the new school supplies to buy and use for next year. I thought of changing something about my school method and the stuff I normally use.

I hope it will be an amazing summer!! Maybe one of the best I’ve ever had!

Skin Problems :(

Hi there! I ran out of my favourite concealer and this is sad, but the reason why it happened is..that I used it a lot for my nose. It was so red and covered in dead skin and small spots. I didn’t care about it for a while, sometimes I didn’t even notice it when staring my reflection in the mirror. But when some people or friends of mine started looking at my nose and asking me if I had any allergies or a cold, I understood that it was evident. MAKEUP was the solution at that moment. I couldn’t accept that my nose looked like it was burnt therefore I decided to use a scrub in the morning to remove the dead skin. Then I started covering it with my Nars creamy concealer, even though the coverage wasn’t perfect and some people kept asking me “What’s wrong with your nose?”. I was like “OK, this redness must disappear now”. In the beginning I was happy that the concealer was helping me hide my red nose, but then I realised that I needed to solve the problem to stop the inflammation. I couldn’t let it get worse. I saw a dermatologist and she prescribed a treatment for me. My medical routine has become this: lactic ferments before breakfast, a suitable cream before my everyday makeup, nutritional supplement (it comes in a tablet and it tastes AWFUL, basically like kibble), a capsule everyday before having dinner and a pill-off mask every other evening. After all these things I can say that thankfully my nose is getting better and I really hope it will look normal soon! Today, after several weeks, I haven’t worn any makeup on my nose, yeah, because it’s not that bad!

I hope you liked this post, if you read it: a big thank you! ❤️

YouTube: what I like

Hi everybody! I’ve recently discovered some new youtube channels which I find awesome, so I’m going to talk about my favourite “youtubers” and youtube content.

We sometimes spend hours on youtube and this sharing platform might become an obsession. I try to moderate myself in order to feel youtube as a hobby and not a distraction.

I personally enjoy watching lifestyle videos and I purposely search for some content by girls who don’t come from the same country as mine because I like to get to know new cultures, new ways of being and relate to other habits. It’s definitely my favourite part of youtube: sharing and relating. Anyway, I sometimes watch makeup tutorials, beauty hacks videos, hauls, vlogs..but recently I’ve been watching a lot of videos about school and study tips.

I’m very fond of this kind of videos and I subscribed to two channels in particular: UnJaded Jade (my current favourite youtuber) and Waystostudy. Jade has got an amazing channel especially thanks to its content, including motivational and self-love videos. Waystostudy has also got a blog called the same way, which is very helpful and I love its “tidy” look.

I’ve always thought of starting my own channel since I love making videos, photography and editing, but as far as I know, Youtube isn’t a joke even if you just do it for fun. As Jade said, she started her journey (in February, so quite recently, but she has reached more than 20,000 subs!!) only when she felt confident enough, and I think this is an important and necessary feeling to face everything and be yourself while talking to your camera. The secret to success.

What do you think about Youtube? Have you got any channel suggestions ?? Let me know in the comments!

Beautiful Italy – Part 3

LAST PART AND LAST ITALIAN TOWNS.

This series of posts about Italian beauties is about to end 😦 This will be my last blog post about two small villages called Antagnod (day 1) and Champoluc (day 2) in the mountains in Northern Italy, situated in Aosta valley. The stunning landscape is composed of snow-capped glaciers and ancient homes in stone and wood. It was sunny, but very chilly and sometimes windy therefore I wore warm clothes for our walks in the woods. We walked beautiful paths covered in permanent snow and I stopped for lots of times to take pictures of flowers and the mountain range that surrounded us. We were at 1,900 meters of altitude and the view was gorgeous! We had lunch at a typical and cosy restaurant heated by a stove; the windows were so cute and they overlooked the valley. I had some polenta with cheese and butter paired with veal nuggets in tomato sauce: they were so good! I loved walking in the woods: they were so quiet and mysterious and there were lovely wooden bridges that made the place more enchanted. Plus, we saw several bushes and kinds of plants like the rhododendron, the larch and the spruce. At Champoluc we went for a walk through a park where some lovely wooden statues representing squirrels, fawns and fairies were put along the path. I sunbathed sat on a bench and then I stayed at a workout park where you could try some equipment to take some exercise. In the evenings we basically ate local food, so several kinds of cold cuts and cheese.

Here are some photos! I hope you liked reading this!

Beautiful Italy – part 2

Hey readers! This time one of the largest cities in Italy which I’ve been to is.. Bologna! It might be difficult to pronounce in English, but it must be famous for spaghetti alla bolognese! The city is also characterised by its lengthy porticoes and a way rather long street called Independence Street where you can find most of the shops. I visited the most important square that is “Piazza Maggiore” and the “Basilica of St. Petronio”, a lovely church with a panoramic terrace. We had lunch at an indoors market: it was very crowded! I had a roll in with ham, cheese and grilled courgettes. In the afternoon I did some shopping for clothes and then we went to some local food markets. In the evening we had dinner at “32 tavern” where I had some  Risotto with sausage, pieces of Grana Padano cheese and Lambrusco wine: it was so good! And as for dessert I ordered a berries cheesecake: this was fantastic as well! Luckily it didn’t rain, so we managed to have a nice walk around the centre of the city. Undoubtedly it’s a very important cultural and artistic centre and what I enjoyed the most were the medieval towers and the antique buildings. And then the food, that is good, very good!! 😉CITY

RISOCHEESECAKE

Beautiful Italy – part 1

It’s nice to realize how pleasant is visiting, discovering and admiring my country. I’m Italian and I have a lot of chances to go sightseeing around Italy. I’m going to write three blogposts about 3 Italian cities that I visited at Easter and today’s destination is..Milan!

I love going there more times a year, I usually go shopping and sightseeing at Christmas, Easter and on Summer holidays. This time I visited it with my friends and we had so much fun together. The journey took us about 45 minutes and we caught a train and the tube to reach it..it’s pretty near our city. We obviously stopped by Duomo Cathedral, Milan’s symbol and we took a lot of pictures. Even though we’ve seen it a bunch of times, we don’t get bored of it! Recently some cute palms have been put in front of the cathedral and it’s fun to think of visiting a seaside town. Most famous shops are along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, so we always walk down it several times. It’s often very crowded and there are buskers and mini shows. There you can visit the Rinascente: a huge store where you can find anything. After several escalators, on the top floor there is a restaurant and a cool view. Also at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele there are some shops, but big brands ones. The galleria is one of the world’s oldest shopping malls and has a lovely iron-and glass-roof. The largest park in the central area of Milan is Sempione park and it’s very lovely especially to picnic. Then it’s worth visiting Porta nuova business district that includes modern high rise buildings, a large park and an ice skating rink in winter!

In the afternoon we went to Arnold Coffee that it’s very similar to Starbucks and we had iced coffee with whip cream and a raspberry cheese cake. They were so good! Mine was with cinnamon and it was fantastic! It’s definitely my favorite cafe.

I hope you liked reading this blog post!

MAKE-UP question tag!

Hi everyone! Today I’m doing a girly blog post since I’m going to answer some questions that I found on the internet and they are going to be all about MAKE-UP.

-What foundation do you use? I’ve got the Teint miracle radiant foundation by Lancôme that is so good, but I don’t use it everyday. Undoubtedly when I want to do a complete make-up look this foundation is perfect and the coverage is awesome.

– How about concealer? I use my Radiant creamy concealer by Nars as a rule and I love it! It’s in the shade vanilla and it’s perfect for my everyday make-up looks!

-Do you know your undertone color? I don’t know exactly..but I think it’s neutral so neither warm or cool.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes? I’ve never used them and I think they’re too exaggerated, even though when I sometimes see girls wearing them I think they look pretty.

-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? Yes, but like most of girls I forget about it and I continue to use my favourite mascara, especially if it was very expensive.

-What brand of mascara do you use? I’ve tried lots of mascaras so far and my favourite one is the Better the sex mascara by Too faced. I also use the Falsies push up drama mascara by Maybelline.

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application? I use two brushes to apply my concealer and foundation and a make-up sponge to blend them and other two brushes for my blush and powder.

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? No, I don’t. I’d like to buy one.

-For the face? No, I don’t usually use one.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)? My favourite shades are all the nudes, therefore I use my Naked, Ultimate basics palette by Urban Decay.

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? No, I’m not fond of eyeliner.

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? I don’t use them, but I think they’re cool, if applied properly!

-Do you use mineral makeup? No, I don’t. It’s just for very special occasions.

-What is your favorite lipstick? My favourite lipstick is an old one bright pink by Chanel, but in my bag I always have my Lasting finish lipstick by Rimmel & Kate Moss in the shade nude 055.

-What is your favorite blush to use? It’s definitely the gorgeous Rockateur by Benefit!! It’s the best blush ever and I’d totally recommend it!

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay? No, I don’t. I always find my make-up at Sephora’s.

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? No, but I’d like to have a friend who is obsessed with make-up and very good at doing it so that I could have the flawless make-up done haha and obviously improve my skills!

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? In the beginning I was quite uncertain, but I watched lots of tutorials and I improved in putting it on.

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones? I prefer neutral ones.

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use? Mascara!

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? It depends where and with whom I go out.

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? Maybe, but at the moment I’ve got some horrible and annoying pimples, so i can’t do without using it.

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? hardest question. impossible question.

-What do you think of Makeup? I love it and I think it’s an impressive and fascinating form of art. It’s something you can feel passionate about and something you can play with. I agree that natural beauty is the most important thing, but in my opinion it’s more important to be yourself and happy with your person, so if make-up makes you feel good, you shouldn’t feel ashamed of wearing it.

I hope you liked reading this question tag. Have a nice day!
