My Makeup Favourites!

Hi everyone! ❤️Welcome to my blog! It’s been so long since I last wrote a blogpost about beauty, so today I decided to talk about some makeup products that I’ve enjoyed using lately. The first product is my go to mascara and it’s the Falsies push up drama mascara by Maybelline. My friend got me it for my birthday and I’ve been using it since then: I couldn’t do without it! I admit that if I had to choose only one product to bring with me, I would say my mascara. Anyway this one from Maybelline is very fine and I think is suitable for giving volume to your leashes, but maybe it’s not perfect at lengthening them. So I would say it’s good for everyday makeup looks. Then another product I love is the concealer by Nars in the shade Vanilla. The packaging is amazing and so is the coverage! The first time I tried it I was amazed: it works almost like a highlighter, in fact it’s a radiant creamy concealer. The third product completes a makeup look giving a vivid colour to your cheeks: it’s the Rockateur blush by Benefit! After the concealer, I apply this blush and I’m really happy with the combination! In fact the packaging goes: “a show-stopping flush”…I love its effect!! It’s the perfect glowing and frosted blush and it also smells so good. I’m so excited for the fourth product..I wanted it so bad and I’m so happy to have it! It’s the Nyx Lingerie liquid lipstick n.15 in the shade “Bustier”! Its colour is almost undefinable and this fact makes it special. It’s a bit dark for me because I don’t usually use such dull colours on my lips, but this one is gorgeous and honestly I’m trying to test different lipsticks and change my usual makeup a little bit! It lasts quite a long time, but it obviously depends on what you do, for example if you go out for a meal, the colour fades gradually and your lips end up looking like they’re dirty..:(  but intact I think it’s so pretty! The last product is for skin-caring: it’s the refined finish facial polish by Benefit. (This beauty brand is so good!) I bought this face scrub mainly for my nose because it’s always red and irritated and I hope this product could help my skin to get better. I use it twice a week, one day after getting up and the other one while having a shower. It smells really good and helps smooth away imperfections, but I know I’ll have to use it steadily before seeing improvements.

These were my current makeup favourites, I hope you enjoyed reading this blogpost!

Hi everyone! After the blog post about my study method, today I’m going to be writing about some study tips! The first one is doing a diagram by drawing arrows and squares for methodical subjects like philosophy and it’s important to use COLOURS! As I said in my previous post, I love blue and purple, therefore I always use them to write headlines and essential words. Another tip is definitely revising your lectures (especially if you have an oral test) by explaining them out loud even like you were a teacher! And if you’ve got a friend who is willing to listen to you, you can try to tell him/her what you’ve studied, so that your conversation will be more fluent and natural. Once I had to study a plot of a book I hadn’t enjoyed at all, so I found it hard and I was annoyed, but by telling my friend the story, I managed to remember it better! The third tip is setting the alarm on your phone (it’s better to use a deafening and an irritating sound haha) to remind yourself to start studying (for example I do it when I get lost in watching photos/videos on my phone) and hereafter doing it again to plan and divide your break time and study time. Another tip is.. starting with the subject you like the least! Your brain is more active and focused for the first part of the afternoon, so you’ll be more likely to practise a subject which you’re less good at properly. Then you will be able to focus on what you enjoy studying, and it takes shorter 🙂

I hope you found this blog post useful! Maybe I will write a part two..

3 weird things!

Recently I’ve found myself being in a “creative” mood, in fact I’ve uploaded some videos on my youtube channel (it’s Giojo) and I’ve thought a lot about my future, passions, projects… (In the end I was accepted for the editing and writing course in Milan! I’m attending it in June and I’m so excited!) So while I was listening to music in my room, I decided to write a blog post about 3 weird things related to my life.

The first one is..I’ve got a sort of diary (as I said in other blog posts I’m obsessed with notebooks) which my friends got me for my birthday and I use it to write my day’s quotes. In the beginning I always remembered to write a sentence about my mood or something that happened on each day like “to see a change you need to think about it and act gradually and steadily” (this one comes back to December, 28), but now I hardly rememberer to do that and I always think <<What a pity, it was a good “tradition”>>. Haha Who knows if I’ll restart writing weird quotes pretending to be a philosopher…

The second thing is..I used to write everything with my black pen ranging from my homework, diary to notes because I thought that black was a “powerful” colour so very “clean-cut”, while blu was powerless and dim. My school notes had to be clear and tidy and black was the suitable colour to reach that condition to me haha but yesterday I found a blue pen inside one of my penholder and I started using it at school and surprisingly I found my notes clearer! I was like “Omg, this sudden change has turned out to be great!”

The third thing a girl, I sometimes go crazy when I have to choose my outfit for school especially when my favourite clothes are in the washing machine. So I did a list of possible outfits to wear and I hung it on my wardrobe to remind myself a good matching when I have no idea about what to wear the next day!

I hope you liked this weird blog post! See you soon,
